Now for the card. I made the card using scraps and a ton of Tim Holtz Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink. I found the idea for the card on Pinterest. Gotta love that site. I thought this was a nice masculine, but also lovey card.

Today is my 5 year anniversary. I can't believe it's been 5 years already. It's gone by so quickly. It's been an amazing and wonderful 5 years. Here's a quick photo of Jason and me 5 years ago on that very wonderful day. I hope we have 55 more years together. I love you, Jason.

My mom is turning 59 today. For her birthday card this year I used Basic Grey's Picadilly papers and Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I'm really pleased with how well this card turned out. I like all the layers and inking. I hope you all have a wonderful day, Happy Birthday Mom!

I made this altered canvas for a friend of mine a few months back. He is a huge Elton John fan and we've specifically talked about how the song "Your Song" is one the the sweetest sentiments we've heard in a song. When he got engaged I thought this would be a perfect gift for him and his future husband. I couldn't be happier for the two of them. I used Basic Grey paper, Tim Holtz Grungeboard, Glimmer Mists, and Zing metallic embossing powder on this. I'm very happy with how it turned out and my friend told me he shed a few tears when he opened the gift.

I wanted to share a few quick Mother's Day cards I made. I planned to share these last Sunday on Mother's Day, but Blogger was not working for me. I couldn't upload a picture to save my life. So the post is late, but thankfully the cards were on time. I made these cards using mostly scraps and tons of ink. You know me...I do love to ink. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there! I hope it was a wonderful day for you all.

I wanted to reshare my favorite page that I've ever scrapbooked. It's one of those inspired pages that just came so easily and quickly. I'm so happy with it and even though I made it in 2009 it is still on of my favorites. I used Basic Grey's Ambrosia line and plenty of Tim Holtz products on this page.
