Long Overdue Birthday Party Post

Last month Kirk turned one.  I am still in denial.  I can't have a one year old!  I mean he was only born like 5 minutes ago so he can't possibly have already turned one.  This year has been one of the quickest of my life.  I'm pretty sure the last month of my pregnancy felt 10 times longer than this year did.  It has also been on of the most challenging and wonderful of my life also.  Anyway we celebrated Kirk's birthday with a big party and I had so much fun making decorations for his party.  We went with a mustache theme and had a lot of fun with it.  I used my new cricut a lot for all the mustaches.

Altered Canvas

A good friend of mine recently got engaged.  I wanted to make him and his new fiance a special gift for their engagement party.  This friend is a HUGE Elton John fanatic.  Your Song is one of his favorite songs also and I just love the quote "How wonderful life is now you're in the world." so I decided to use that line on a canvas.  I used Basic Grey's "Out of Print" line as well as, some Tim Holtz grungeboard, glimmer mists, and distress inks.

Happy Valentines Day!

I am normally not one to partake in Valentines Day festivities, but this year a group of friends decided to do a card exchange for Valentines Day.  It sounded like fun so I signed up to participate.  I had to make 4 cards and I thought that Bombshell Stamps are perfect for some fun Valentines Day cards.  I use cheesy pick up lines in as my theme to give the ladies a chuckle when they got them in the mail.  I hope you enjoy and have the Valentines Day you were hoping for.

For the cards I used the distress inks, copic markers, and Bombshell stamps Indian Warrior , Retro Cowgirls, and Bombshell Angel.

Somebody better call God...Cuz he's missing an angel

Are you a parking ticket?  Because you've got FINE written all over you

Let's commit the prefect crime...I'll steal your heart and you steal mine

It's a good thing I have my library card...Because I am checking you out! (This one was my favorite).

Bombshell Blog Hop

December's Bombshell blog hop was postponed a  bit, but better late than never in my book!  I made an ornament as a gift for a friend using the Peek-a-boo geisha digital stamps.  My friend is a Japanese teacher and really likes Geisha's so I thought this would be the perfect gift for her.

To participate in the blog hop, start at the  Bombshell Stamps blog and make your way through the list in order.

I used the Western Gal stamp set for this card.   I used Basic Gery paper and colored the image with Copic markers.  I hope you enjoy and Happy Hump Day!
